Hi Friends!!! I just wanted to give you all a quick update on this past weekend. I got to go camping with some friends for my new friend Shauna's 21st birthday. It was extremely fun and petrifying all at the same time. It was a group of 13 of us and 5 of us went a couple hours ahead of the others to set up camp, while the 8 of us left later in the evening. I know that was a lot of numbers but basically 8 of us had to find this camping spot in the woods, in the dead of night, alone, and we had no idea where we were going. So needless to say it was an adventure. My friends Kayla, Annalise, Jacob, and I got lost in the woods for probably a good hour,I started freaking out when I heard noises of what i'm sure were animals circling us in the dark, just waiting for us to grow tired so they could attack... it was really awesome...and some pretty raw prayers were prayers such as "God, I'm seriously freaking out right now, and I don't know what to do." But our friends finally found us! We were tired, sweaty, hungry, and downright dirty. However we made it to the camp site in one piece, ate some hotdogs, smores, and enjoyed a birthday cookie for Shauna. After morning came the group backtracked to find out where we had gotten lost the night before, we saw proof that God is so great! Where we had been lost was extremely dangerous, and may or may not have been right on the edge of the bluff...However, the overall experience was pretty comical. I got to sleep in a cave under a waterfall(which initially sounds great, but waterfalls are LOUD) we all hiked the next day to some gorgeous spots in arkansas (who knew arkansas was pretty?!) and had great fellowship with friends(old and new ones). Despite being scared out out my mind at most points during the first night, I would absolutely do it again, only this time during the light of day.

sounds like you could've used a better trail leader :)
