He's simply the best

I just wanted to take a few minutes to brag on my Dad. Can I just tell you all how great he is?! He is the hardest working and wisest guy around. He has always been willing to do whatever it takes to provide for me and my sisters and has set an extremely high standard as to what a man in my life needs to look like. Even though at times I hated it, he always pointed me towards the truth of the Gospel and has challenged me to live it out even when my flesh wanted to do the opposite. Because of his obedience and prayerful walk with the Lord, I have seen him be blessed in so many ways and I am so proud that he's my dad.
-My Top Eleven List of Why I Love Him-
1. When I was a baby and my sister Kaiti shockingly came along 13 months after me, he worked whatever job he could just to provide for us.
2. He is so smart- I love talking business with him and dreaming up ideas of companies I could own in the future.
3. He is the best listener. He knows that there are times when girls just need to vent- after 22 years of all girls, he's mastered it
4. He gives great advice...my favorite response of his is "how's that workin' for ya?" -it really hits you in the gut...
5. He is SO FUNNY! I can't even give you specific examples, but he's the only boy in my life that can make me laugh so hard my abs hurt.
6. He thinks I'm beautiful...and he thinks my "sassiness" is funny...well sometimes:)
7. He likes bike rides and he will wander around and find random/beautiful things in the darndest places.
8. He flew out to california with me so I could make my first hard "big girl decision" and helped me walk through it, then spoiled me all day in Malibu:) He listened to street musicians with me and we ate sushi, shopped AND we got to eat inn-n-out
9. Even though we are a family of all girls he made us go camping and bike riding and didn't allow us be too girly, which I am SO thankful for
10. He's so selfless- he will drive 3 hours to school and 3 hours home all in the same day just to help me put my bedroom furniture together
11. When he laughs really hard about something ALL his teeth show and he laughs like a girl...it's the greatest. Especially if you are the person who got him to laugh that hard
Let's face it, my list could go on and on and on. I don't know what else to say, I love him and am so thankful that the Lord chose him to be mine:)
