Guys. September 6 is getting closer everyday!!! More and more wedding details are starting to be finalized! Somebody pinch me. Wait- don't I bruise easily.
One of the first big decisions I made after getting engaged was choosing my bridal party. After I knew Tripp was the man I was going to marry I had them mentally picked out but officially asking each one was one of my favorite things so far! I basically got to tell the people I love most that they're the bomb and ask them to stand up there with me on the greatest day of my life...I mean really?! It's the best.
I strategically picked all 8 of these ladies. No- not just because they are all beautiful woman and will make my pictures even more awesome ;) but because as a couple Tripp and I desire to grow closer to Jesus and be an example of the gospel to a fallen world. For better or worse we are vowing to choose each other and pursue righteousness together. I wanted to surround myself with woman who would help me do this well. Woman who seek the Lord, who draw near to him in prayer and who had been a part of Tripp and my story from the beginning.
Some of these ladies knew me during my waiting, some got to know me better in the dating and all of them will be next to me as I become Mrs. Tripp Jackson...Well technically "Mrs. Thomas Dozier Jackson III". But that's just really long.
Here they are...drumroll pleeeasssseee....
Kaitlin Moore- Maid of Honor #1. Younger/Shorter Sister.
Becca Smith- Best Friend. Basement Buddy of the Bride
Rachel McMillan - Best Friend. Cuddle Buddy.
Sydney Jackson- Future Sister in Law. Possible Long Lost Twin Sister?

How I love to read about how excited you are for one of the biggest days of your life, Sam! Preparing for a wedding is truly a fun phase, and it's great to see that you are enjoying it to the brim. Picking your bridesmaids and the people who would make your day extra special is just one, deciding on how the day would go, from the church decoration, wedding theme, the reception, and a lot other things is another. I truly wish you had a great wedding, and that you're facing your married life with positivity. Best of luck to you both!
